BLS IT RffiOLVFD HY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TFIE CITY OF CANTOF, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Tuesday, Dscea`ber 15th, 1959, be and the same 3a
hereby designated sa the date for a general municipal eleotion in the said
City of Canton for the purpose of electing a Clerk and a Judge of the
City Court of Canton for the term of office as nov provided by law, and
a general municipal election therefor is hereby called for said aforesaid
msationsd date.
Section 2. That a general municipal primary election for the
purpose of nomination a candidate or candidates for the said office of
Judge of said Court and Clerk of said Court is hereby called and the date
of acid general municipal Primary Election is hereby designated as Tuesday,
October 27, 1959, seven weeks prior to said general municipal election,
as provided by law.
Section 3. That the following plaeea for holding said elections
are hereby designated:
First Ward: Wright School, E. Spruce Street and North First Ave.
Second Wards John Dean Sohool, Avenue B. and West 4ine Street.
Third Ward: Aulit School, Weat Chestnut Street and Ave. C.
Fourth Wards Hellogg School, 534 S. ~~ Avenue.
Fifth Wards Jr. High Schoo, 153 ~-• Maple Street
31zth Ward: Anderson School, 200 Block South Seventh Avenue.
Seventh Ward: McCall Sohool, North Eighth Avenue.

Section 5. That the City Clerk of the City of Canton is hereby
authorised and directed to give such notice and to do and perform all
other acts on her part necessary to perform, to provide for the holding
of acid election in manner and form as prescribed by lax.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City
of Canton, Illinois, this 18th day of August A. D. 1959.
