BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COiJNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That beginning on the first Tuesday in the month
of May, 19b1, and annually thereafter there shall be set aside from the
Parking Meter Fund of said City the sum of X10,000.00 for the purpose of
purohaaing, constructing and maintaining a Municipal Public Parking Lot
or Lots.
Section 2. The City Treasurer is hereby directed that begin-
ping in the month of June, 1961, and thereafter on or before the tenth
day of each and every month, he shall u3.thdraW from moneys collected
from parking meters for the preceding month, the sum of ~g33.33. This
sum shall be deposited in a savings account or accounts in a bank or
banks heretofore approved by the City Council as a depository of Munici-
pal funds, and shall be designated and kno~rn n8 "Public Parking Lot Fund
of the City of Canton, Illinois." That at some future date xhen, in the
opinion oP the City Council, it becomes feasible, this fund shall be
~rithdraWn and used for the purchase of pa~operty or properties to be used
as a Municipal Publio Parking Lot or Lots.
