R E S O L U T I O N .
WHEREAS, The Statute of the State of Illinois requires
that for construction work on public works that a prevailing
wage rate for workers on such public projects shall be deter-
mined, fixed and set forth in a :~; Resolution to be consid-
ered by the City Council of each Municipality in the State of
Illinois and acted on and passed by the Citv~:~Eouncil of each
Municipality and, when passed, to be certified to the Secretary
of State of Illinois for filing in his office; and such a reso-
lution is to be passed by the City Council every six months
and published in a newspaper of general circulation within 30
days after filing with the Secretay of State.
BE TT, THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Canton, Illinois, that the following schedul+b be and
is the Prevailing ~Iourly.Wage Rite determined by said City
Council on public work construction in the City of Canton, Ill-
inois:

RESOLVED
BE IT FURTHER,,~That a certified copy of this Resolution
be filed with the Secretary of State and within 30 days after
said filing said Resolution be published in a newspaper of
general circulation within the area.
BE IT FURTHER R.ESChVED, .'hat said rates of pay be publicly
posted and/or kept available for inspectzdn by any' interested party.
PASSED by the Ci Council of Canton, Illinois, and approved
by the Mayor this day of March, 1962.
