R E S O L U T I O N .
WHEREAS, there is considerable discussion throughout the
cation of the large army of unemployment, and that there are many
>erson who are unemployed because of lack of work for such indi--
riduals.
AND, WHEREAS, it appears that there are many persons in the
;ity of Carton who are holding more than one full time jobs or
positions;
AND`,. WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of this City
~ouncil of the City of Canton, Illinois, that some if its employ-
es are engaged in working at more than one job or position, and
hus depriving others of an opportunity to work.
THEREFORE, Be it resolved, by the City Council of the City
f Canton, Illinois, that it be and is the policy of this Council

hat no person who holds a full time, regular~.job o~• position as
City employee of the City of Canton should hold or attempt to

agage in any ~z l~~loyement beyond the regular full time work in
hich he or she is employeed by the City of Canton.
BE IT FURTHER R~~SOLVED, that this be the permanent and fix-
d policy of the City of Canton adopted and put into effect for
he purpose of encouraging more accurate and efficient work for
he City employees, and in the interest of promoting better work-
ng conditions in the City of Canton.
