RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CAUSE TO BE PREPARED AND TO SUBMIT
AN APPLICATION FOR A GENERAL NEIGHBORHOOD RENEWAL PLAN TO THE FEDERAL
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING FOR URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
Section 1. That the Mayor be and is authorized to submit a signed
application for a general neighborhood renewal plan upon completion of
narrative and supporting maps.
Section 2. That the Mayor be and is authorized to enter into a
contract with Urban Programming Corporation of America for the planning
activities celled for under said application and to enter into a contract
with Roy Murphy & Associates for design guide lines called for under said
application, provid~d~ however that such contracts with Urban Programming
Corporation of America and Roy Murphy & Associates are approved by the
Federal government as part of the application for s General Neighborhood
Renewal Plan and that the Federal government shall advance such funds as
may be approved and required to conduct such studies as called for in
said application.
