GJHEIZEAS, the City of Canton, Illinois on the °th Day of July
1968, A.D. submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment a Workable Program and Comprehensive Plan for Community
Improvement, and
WHEREAS, the City of Canton, Illinois under terms of the
Housing Act on September 1, 1967 received certification of this Workable
Program for Community Improvement, and
WIiEREAS, this certification expires on September 1, 1968 and to be
re-certif ied progress must be determined and a "Review of Progress
Under the Workable Program for Community Improvement" must be
submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and
WHEREAS, the Said "Review of Progress Under the Workable
Program for Community Improvement" has been prepared by the Mayor,
f~J. Paul Woods and his secretary Dottie Wolfe,
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Canton, Illinois hereby authorizes the Mayor to submit the. pre-
pared documents of the-said ""review of Progress Under the ?~~orkable
Program for Community Improvement" to the Department of housing and
Urban Development for their approval.
