WHEREAS, the City of Canton, Illinois, has heretofore
made application for Federal Crant for Sewage Works (Intercepting
Sewer) under 33 U.S. 466 et sequi through the Dept. of Health,
Education and Welfare, Public Health Service, as represented by
the Sanitary Water Board; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to request of the Sanitary Water Board
the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has heretofore
passed a Resolution appointing W. Paul Woods, then Mayor of said
City as the authorized representative of said City to represent
said City in making application in all matters touching on said
application by said City heretofore made; and,
WHEREAS, Robert F. Jennings is now the Mayor of the City
of Canton, Illinois; and,
WHEREAS, it has been made to appear necessary and expedient
and to the best interests of said City to appoint said Robert F.
Jennings as the authorized representative of said City to act
on behalf of the City of Canton, Illinois in all future matters
connected with the City's application for a Federal Crant to
construct sewage works (Intercepting Sewer), under Public Law 660.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it, and it hereby is, resolved that
Robert F. Jennings, Mayor, of the~_ amity of Canton, Illinois be, and
he hereby is, authorized to represent the City of Canton, Illinois
in all future matters connected with said City's application for
a Federal Crant to construct sewage works (intercepting Sewer)
under Public Law 660 and as the authorized representative of said
City to do all acts in the premises thereof.
BE IT, AND IT HEREBY IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that any prior
Resolution inconsistent herewith be, and the same hereby is,
cancelled and repealed.
BE IT, AND IT HEREBY IS, RESOLVED AND ORDERED that a
certif ied copy of this Resolution be made available to the Mayor
of this City for delivery by him to such Officials as may be
interested herein in the implementation of this City's said
application.
PAS?SED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois,
and approved by the Mayor, this 15th day of July, 1969.

The undersigned hereby certifies that she is City Clerk
of the City of Canton, Illinois, an d as such she is the custodian
of the records of the Municipality of the City of Canton, Illinois,
and keeper of the Ordinances and Resolutions and journal of proceedings
of the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois; and she further
certifies that the foregoing Resolution is a true and accurate copy
of the. Resolution duly enacted by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois, at a meetiag regularly held thereof on the 15th
day of July, 1969 and passed on roll call vote as shown on the
foregoing.
