CANTON 2—RT. 9/CHESTNUT ST.TIF DISTRICT
AN ORDINANCE RESCINDING AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A TIF DISTRICT
REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
by and between
THE CITY OF CANTON
and
GILLIAM CUSTOM FABRICATION,LLC AND JOSHUA Li GILLIAM
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council of the City of Canton,Fulton County, Illinois (the
"City") previously approved a TIF District Redevelopment Agreement by and between the City of
Canton and Gilliam Custom Fabrication, LLC and Joshua L. Giliam (collectively the
"Developer") on November 21,2023 by Ordinance No.4377.

NOW THEREFORE,be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council';of the City of Canton,
Illinois,as follows:
1. On November 21,2023,the Corporate Authorities of the City of Canton,Illinois approved a
TIF District Redevelopment Agreement (the "Redevelopment Agreement's with Gilliam
Custom Fabrication,LLC and Joshua L. Gilliam by Ordinance No. 4377 for a redevelopment
project to be located at 920 W.Locust St. (PIN #s 09-08-28-404-0018i 09-08-28-404-002)in
the Canton 2-Rt. 9/Chestnut St. TIF District(the"Project").
2. The Developer has not yet executed said Redevelopment Agreement and has communicated
to the City that it will no longer be pursuing the Project as previously proposed.
3. The City hereby rescinds Ordinance No.4377 approving said Redevelopment Agreement.
4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as
required by law.

PASSED APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Canton,Fulton County,Illinois this 16'day of April,2024 and filed in the office of the City Clerk of
said City on that date.
