WHEREAS, the City of Crouton, Illinois has been involved
in the construction of storm relief sewers, sometimes designated
as "HUD Project No. WS-4-14-00??"; and,
WHEREAS, Normoyle-Berg and Associates have held the prime
contract for the construction thereof; and,
WHEREAS, Normoyle-Berg and Associates have heretofore
requested an extension of time for the performance thereof; and,
WHF.~REAS, it ham been made to appear that a Resolution of this
Council approving a 181 day time extension and waiving assessment of
any liquidated damages is necessary before final payment of said
project can be made by and through the Department of Housing and
Urban Development,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT HEREBY IS ,RESOLVED AS FOLL(yWSs
That Normoyle-Berg and Associates, Contractors for the
project above identified, be and they hereby are, granted a 181
day time extension for the=°performance of the contract therefor
end that the assessment of any liquidated damages, by said Contract
provided in the event of failure to perform within a time therein
named, be, and the same hereby are, waived.
PASSEll by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois
and approved by the Mayor thereof, this 6th day of July, A.D. 19?1.
