RESOLUTI ON ~s~~
WHEREAB, a Petition has been filed requesting the rezoning
of the realty hereinafter described and recommendations touching
thereon have been made to the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois after notice and hearing; and,
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that a special use
permit would authorize and enable utilization of said realty as in
said Petition prayed without the necessity of rezoning thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT .AND TT HEREBY I3 RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, TLLINOTB, AS FOLLOW8:
SECTION 1. That the realty described as follows:
Part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 26, Township ? North,
Range 4 East of the ~`ourth Y'rincipal Meridian beginning at a atone at
the Northeast corner-of said Southeast Quarter of Section 26, running
thence West 141.1.5 feet, thence running South a distance of 150 feet
to the place of beginning, from said point of beginning thence East
110 feet, thence-South 90 feet, thence West 110 feet, thence North
90 feet to the point of beginnin sub~ect to any ~xisting ut~lity
easements, situated in the City ~~ Can on, Fulton ounty, Ill no sl
which said realty is located immediately to th® rear of realty
located at the address of 13?4 East Ash Street in the City of
Canton, Illinois, may be utilized as a parking lot by the Petitioners
David Smith and Sharon Smith in conjunction with and so long as said
Petitioners themselves operate their beauty shop at said address
but not thereafter.
SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall constitute a special
use permit retroactive to and including December ?, 19?1.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified
copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Fulton County, Illinois
Land Records.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect upon and from its passage.

to the place of beginning, from said point of beginning thence East
110 feet, thence South 90 feet, thence West 110 feet, thence North
90 feet to the point of beginning sub 'ect to any existing utility

which said realty is located immediately to the rear of realty
located at the address of 1374 East Ash Street in the City of
Canton, Illinois, may. be utilized as a parking lot by the Petitioners
David Smith and Sharon Smith in conjunction with and so long as said
Petitioners themselves operate their beauty shop at said address
but not thereafter.

use permit retroactive to and including December 7, 1971.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified
copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Fulton County, Illinois
Land Records.
