WHEREAS, it is to the best interest of the City of Canton,
Illinois that a certain written Agreement, dated May 1, 1973 (further
identified as Pipe Line Permit #210,254), providing for the construction
of a 15-inch storm sewer under the right-cf-way of Burlington Northern Inc.
(railway) at a point known as "survey station 3374 plus 80-Mile Post 64
plus 449 feet" be executed and delivered on behalf of the City of Canton,
Illinois
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT, AND IT HEREBY IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
(1) That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Canton,
Illinois be and they hereby are authorized to sign, seal and deliver
said Agreement for and on behalf of said City of Canton, Illinois; and,
(2) That the proper officials of said City make the payment
to said Burlington Northern Inc. as in said Agreement set forth.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois
and approved by the Mayor thereof this 15th day of May, A.D. 1973.
