WHEREAS, it has been made to appear that the Mate of. Illinois
has offered to the City of Canton, Illinois a Supplemental State Grant
offer of State funds in tYxe amount of X364,028.00 for the planning,
financing and construction of said City's proposed Sewage treatment
project, sometimes known as Project C170944; and,
WIIEI2EAS, it has been furti~er made to appear necessary that
said City name, appoint and authorize some representative to accept
said offer and to process such enabling forms as may be,
NOW, TIIEFtEFORL, BE IT ANT) IT I3EI2EI3Y IS RESOLVED BY TIIE CITY
COUNCIL OF' TILE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS
(1) That Robert F. Jennings, Mayor of the City of Canton,
Illinois be, and he hereby is named, appointed and authorized as the
representative of said City on its behalf to accept the offer of
funds above set forth; and,
(2) That he be, and he hereby is, authorized, instructed,
and directed, on behalf of said City to process such enabling forms
in the premises as may be.
