tJI~EIZL'AS, Nellie Crawford, is the duly elected Clerk of
the City of Canton, Illinois; and,
WTIERL'AS, Nellie Crawford, in this capacity, now and in
years past, has served this City and it's citizens well; and,
WHEREAS, Nellie Crawford has so endeared herself, by
reason thereof, to those whom she has served; and,
WHEREAS, Nellie Crawford has been named and honored as
"Legal Secretary of the Year 1974" by the Fulton County Chapter
of Legal Secretaries; and,
WHEREAS, the honor thus accorded to Nellie Crawford, by
.reason of he.r services aforesaid, is inevitably shared by this
City; and,

1. That Nellie Crawford is deserving of the honor accorded
to her and it hereby is so recognized.
2. That a proper sense of decorum and appreciation leads
the corporate authorities of this City to make this ttesolution
not only as testimony but so that the same may be perpetuated
in the records and annals of this City by way of tribute to Nellie
Crawford.
3. That a copy of this resolution be provided Nellie
Crawford for such use of hers and her family as may be.
