Whereas Bill V. Martin Construction Company has asked that the City
Council of the City of Cantons Illinois grant an extension of 71 days
for the performance of its contract with said City for the construction
of Project WS-ILL-2b3, 1973 Waterworks and Sewerage Improvements, Canton
Illinois; ands
Whereas, said City, by reason of the failure of said Company to
perform the construction in the time by contract provided has thereby
incurred additional out-of-pocket expense
NO4d, THEREFORE, BE IT AN'D IT HEREBY TS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CI'T'Y OF CANTON, ILLINOIS that the said request of Bill V. Martin
Construction Company for an extension of time of said contract BE AND IT
HEREBY IS DENIED.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Ill~n ois and
APPROVED by the Mayor thereof this 12th day of Novembers 1974.
