(( A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COST-OF-LIVTNG-ALLOWANCE FOR THE PERIOD
COMMENCING WITH THE FIRST PAY PERIOD IN November , 1974 AS
CONTEMPLATED BY ORDINANCE N0. 460 AS THE SAME AMENDS ORDINANCE N0. 459•))
Whereas, Ordinance No. 459, as arnended by Ordinance No. 460, provided
for a cost-of-living-allowance to be computed and paid from tit~me to time
as therein provided; .and,
Whereas, the corporate authorities of the City of Canton, Illinois have
now computed the cost-of-living-allowance to be allowed its employees
commencing with the first pay period in the month of November ~ 1974,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT, AND IT HER.:BY IS RESOLVED BY THE CORPORATE
AUTHORITIES of the City of Canton, Illinois, as follows:
(1) That the cost-of-living-allowance to be paid to the employees of
the City of Canton, Illinois shall be 16 ~~¢ ~1er hour for each hour worked
November 3 t"
commencing the week of , 1974, in addition to the
14~ per hour hereto ore granted.
(2) That employees thereto entitled shall be paid retroactively as soon
as practicable and shall be paid currently for each pay period hereafter
until computation 2nd re-determination of the cost-of-living-allowance has
again been made by the corporate authorities as provided by said Ordinances.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and APPROVED
by the Mayor thereof this 17th day of December ^, A.D. 197 4
