the CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
I further certify that on NOVEMBER 21. 2023, the City Council of such
municipality passed and approved Ordinance #4380 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE FOR A SPECIAL USE-HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1111 EAST JUNIPER STREET, CANTON,ILLINOIS 61520.
THE CURRENT ZONING CLASSIFICATION IS R-2.
The ordinance attached is a true and correct copy of the ordinance adopted by Canton
City Council.

ORDINANCE NO. 4380
AN ORDINANCE FOR A SPECIAL USE-HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1111 EAST JUNIPER STREET, CANTON,ILLINOIS
61520. THE CURRENT ZONING CLASSIFICATION IS R-2.
WHEREAS,it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton,Fulton County, Illinois,
that the territory herein described is located within the corporate limits of the City of Canton;
and,
WHEREAS,a petition was filed by Scott Miller and Jace Chamberlin, owner and
purchaser of the property to the Joint Planning and Zoning Commission of said City requesting a
Special Use/Home Occupation Permit, and;
WHEREAS,no objectors appeared at said hearing and said commission did thereupon
make favorable findings of fact and did recommend to the Canton City Council that said Special
Use/Home Occupation permit be allowed for personal training out of detached garage at property
located at 1111 East Juniper Street, Canton, Illinois 61520.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON,FULTON COUNTY,ILLINOIS,AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois hereby finds the
foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That Special Use/Home Occupation Permit is hereby granted to allow for personal
training at the property currently zoned R-2 located at 1111 East Juniper Street, Canton, Illinois,
affecting real property (the "Property")being legally described as follows:
Lots 76,77 and a part of Lot 78, in the Village Square Subdivision-Section Three, being a
Subdivision of a part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 7,North Range 4
East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, Fulton County,Illinois, more particularly
described as follows and bearings refer to the Plat of Village Square Subdivision- Section
3:
Lot 76, 77 and 78, in said Subdivision-Section Three-EXCEPTING THEREFROM THE
FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PART THEREOF: Beginning at an iron rod at the
Northwest corner of said Lot 78; thence along the North line of said Lot 78 bearing North
89°25" 18"East, a distance of 32.58 feet to an iron rod; thence bearing South
009 8'15"East, a distance of 148.18 feet to an iron rod on the North line of Juniper
Street;thence along said North line of Juniper Street bearing North 86°55'42" West to
the Southwest corner of said Lot 78;thence in a general Northerly direction along the
West line of said Lot 78 to an iron rod at the Northwest corner of said lot 78, being the
Point of Beginning.

4. That the Special Use/Home Occupation Permit is hereby granted to Scott Miller
and/or Jace Chamberlin for the Property, and the same is hereby issued to Scott Miller and/or
Jace Chamberlin, owner and purchaser of property, respectively.
5. That the record of the City of Canton, appropriated documents,maps and related
regulations be, and the same hereby are, amended to reflect the foregoing Special Use/Home
Occupation permit granted herein.

this 215t day of November, 2023 upon a roll call vote as follows:
