An Ordinance granting a Special Use Permit for the Construction of a Pro
Shop facility at Canton Public Golf Course, North Main Street, Canton, IL.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate limits of
the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, a Petition was filed by Canton Development Company, Inc., d/b/a
Canton Public Golf Course, before the Planning & Zoning Commission of said City,
requesting a Special Use Permit for the construction of a Pro Shop on the property
hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, Notice of a Petition for a Special Use Permit in an AG-1 Zoning
Configuration was published in the Canton Daily Ledger, a newspaper of regular
circulation In the Clry of Canton, County of Fulton and State of Illinois, all In accordance
with the Statutes of the State of Illinois and the Ordinances of the City of Canton so
made and provided; and
WHERF~4S, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said Planning & Zoning
Commission did thereupon make favorable finds of fact and did recommend to the Clty
Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, that said Special Use Permit be issued for the
construction of a Pro Shop facility at the Canton Public Golf Course, North Main Street,
Canton, Illinois.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, hereby
finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a Special Use Permit for the construction and operation of a Pro
Shop shall be issued to Canton Development Company, Inc., d/b/a Canton Public Golf
Course, upon the real estate described on Exhibit A, which is attached hereto.
3. That the appropriate maps, plats and related documents of the City of
Canton shall be and the same are hereby amended to reflect the foregoing Special Use
Permit granted herein.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, at a
regular meeting of said City Council this 3ra day of November , 2009, upon
a roll call vote of .~_ AYES and ~_ NAYS, with _~ Aldermen absent.
