(A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COST-OF-LIVING-ALLOWANCE FOR~~THE PERIOD
COMMENCING WITH TIIE FIRST PAY PERIOD IN ~~ ~~U ~ ~Y 197 5 AS
CONTEMPLATED BY ORDINANCE N0. 460 AS THE SAME AMENDS ORDINANCE N0.
459 .)
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 459 , as amended by Ordinance No. 460 ,
provided for a cost-of-living-allowance to be computed and paid from
time to time as therein provided; and,
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the City of Canton, Illinois
have now computed the cost-of-living-allowance to be allowed its ,~ph~,d/
emplo,~ees commencing with the first pay period in the month of ~=~, ,
197 ~ ,
NOW TIIEREDORE, BE IT, AND IT HEREBY IS RESOLVED BY THE CURPURAZ'E
AUTHORITIES OF' TIIE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
(1). That the cost-of-livi~g~ap~lJ7wa~r~~e to be paid to the employees
of the City of Canton, I11 ~s$isff shall be~ ~~-- ~ per hour for each
hour worked commencing the,~week of ~~- ~ 197
(2). That the employees thereto entitled shall be paid retro-
actively as soon as practicable and shall be paid currently for each
pay-period hereafter until computation and re-determination of the
cost-of-living allowance has again been made by the said corporate
authorities.
