WHEREAS, the City of Canton, Illinois is about to celebrate the
150th anniversary of its founding; and,

Commission from issuing a license ~~ermitting the sale of alcholic liquors
in this area; and,
WHEREAS, the Illinois Liquor Control Commission has issued a special
permit authorizing the sale of beer only to two local organizations
participating in the celebration of saiu anniversary,
NOW, THEREFO~tE, BE IT AND IT HE i BY IS RESOLVED 'BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
That said organizations holding said special permits to sell beer
and beer only be and they hereby are permitted to participate in the
celebration of said anniversary and to sell beer, under their respective
permits, at a location or locations designated by the local Liquor
Commission in the downtown or public square area of this City.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and
