RESOLUTION
t~liereas, it has been made to appear to the satisfaction of the
Corporate Authorities of the City of Canton, Illinois that it is or
may: be to the best interest of this City that the zoning Ordinance
thereof be reviewed in the light of present circumstances and need
and with an eye to tl~e possible revision thereof to meet such needs;
and,
~~hereas, it appears desirable that a committee be designated
therefor by the Corporate Authorities to malye such review and such
recommendations in the premises as may be,
Now, therefore, be it, and it hereby is resolved by the Corporate
Authorities of the City of Canton, Illiuois as follows:
1. That inn Grim, Sohn Mader, and 1Jilliam lI. PWlalmgren be and they
hereby are designated and appointed as a committee for the purpose
and hereby charged with the duty of retriewin~ the ~or_ing Ordinance
of this City, to make study thereof, and do such acts in the premises
hereof as may be, and to recommend and make such amendments thereof
as appear necessary or best suited to the .interest of this City.
2. That the committee hereby appointed and designated be and it is
hereby is directed to proceed e~:peditiously and without delay in the
furtherance of its duties, hereby imposed, all with the intent that
the premises hereof be determined without any undue delay.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and
APPROVED by the Mayor thereof this ~'2~-- day of November, 1975.
