jlhereas, the corporate authorities of the City of Canton, Illinois
have, by Ordinance, provided for a cost-of-living-allowance to be
corn;~ttted and raid from time to time as t.lerein provided and during the
fiscal year 1975-1976; and, ,,
1~'hereas, the corporate authorities of the City of Canton, Illinois
h~;ve nova computed t'~e cost-of-lit-ing=allo~,~ance to be paid its employees
commencing ~~'ith the first pay period in the month of DECE~[BER ~
1975,
1VTOt~, TIILREFOI2E, BE IT, AND IT HEnEBl' IS RESOLVED BY TIIE CORPORATE
~L'1'}IOaITII/S of the City of Canton, Illinois, as follo~,~s
(1) That the cost-of-living-allowance to be paid to the employees
of the City of Canton, Illinois shall be 10~ ¢ per hour for each
1~our ~.~oi'ked commencing the ~acelc of December 1st , 1975, and in
addition to any cost-of-living-allo~eance Leretofore authorized during
the I~isca). year, 1975-197G. (making a total of 40~ per hour since May 1st, 1975).
(~) That emplcyees thereto entitled shall be paid retroactively
ac soon as pr~:cticable ~~nd shall be raid currently for each pa}~ 1>eriod
