(A Resolution authorizing a contract for appraisal services)
Whereas it has been made to appear to the satisfaction of the corporate
authorities of the City of Canton, Illinois that it is necessary for said City to
employ the services of competent professional help to make appraisals of realty
in connection with project WS-Ill-263 (storm sewer portion thereof); and,
Whereas, it has been further made to appear that Iowa Appraisal and Research
Corporation is a firm both recommended and competent to provide such help and th-
low bidder therefor,
Now, Therefore, Be It and It Hereby is Resolved by the City Council of the
City of Canton, Illinois, as follows:
That the Mayor of this City be and he hereby is authorized and directed to
enter into contract with Iowa Appraisal and Research Corporation to make appraisals
of the water and sewer easements involved in said project ~ for the sum of $4000.00.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and Approved by
the Mayor (pro tem) thereof at a regular meeting this 16th day of November, 1976.
