AN ORDINANCE REPEALING TITLE 9, CHAPTER 10, SECTION 2 (E) OF THE CANTON
MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING PARKING IN A BUS LOADING AREA.
WHEREAS, the Streets and Traffic Committee of the City of Canton,
Illinois has determined

that it is necessary, desirable and to the best
Canton to repeal and delete Title 9, Chapter 10,

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has made a
similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Title 9, Chapter 10, Section 2 (E) of the Canton Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby repealed and deleted from the Canton
Municipal Code.
2. That the remainder of Title 9, Chapter 10, Section 2, Parking,
of the Canton Municipal Code remain in full force and effect.
3. Parking of a motor vehicle shall be permitted on the West side of
South White Court in the City of Canton, Illinois from the North curb line
of the City Parking Lot to a point twenty (20) feet North thereof.
4. That the appropriate officials of the City shall remove the signs
and markings designating this area as a bus stop.
5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval
by the Mayor thereof.
