' 4 wr..' ,,, x ~ AD1 ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY ON AVENUE F (JETT PROPERTY) TO THE CITY OF CANTON WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is not within the corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the City of Canton, Illinois; and It further appearing to said City Council that no electors reside in said area; and It further appearing that the owner of record of all of said land has requested that it be annexed to said City as shown by the records of this Council. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the territory described as follows: A part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28 in Township 7 North, Range 4 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian; Beginning at a point 175 feet South of the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28, thence running South 300 feet, thence West 315 feet, thence North 300 feet, thence East 315 feet to the place of beginning, containing 2 acres, more or less, situated in the County of Fulton and State of Illinois. be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Canton, Illinois. Section 2. That this property shall be zoned in the zoning classification applicable under the existing ordinances of the City of Canton for newly annexed territory. Section 3. That a certified copy of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the territory described herein shall be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Fulton County, Illinois. .. ~ , Section 4.
