ORDINANCE N0. ~) ~-
AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING AN ORDINANCE MAKING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION
FOR THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OF SAID CITY,
1977 - 1978, TO BE TERMED THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE OF SAID
CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has
adopted an ordinance making the annual appropriation for the City of
Canton, Illinois, for the fiscal year of said City, 1977 - 1978, to
be termed the annual appropriation ordinance of said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has
determined that it is necessary to supplement said ordinance by the
addition thereto of anti-recession funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Ordinance No. 597, heretofore adopted by the corporate
authorities of the City of Canton and which is entitled "AN ORDINANCE
MAKING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION FOR THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR OF SAID CITY, 1977 - 1978, TO BE TERMED THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY" be, and the same is hereby
supplemented by the addition thereto under the caption: "FOR OTHER
PURPOSES AUTHORIZED BY LAW", the following:
ANTI-RECESSION FUND
Anti-Recession Funds: $7,974.00
Employees Hospitalization Insurance: $7,974.00
2. That this Ordinance shall be retroactive in its effect to and
including the date of the passage of said Ordinance No. 597.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and
