RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A HANDICAP PARKING SPACE AT 23 SOUTH MAIN
STREET, CANTON, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Public Safety Committee has determined that it is necessary and in the
best interests of the citizens of Canton, Illinois to designate a handicap parking space at 23 South
Main Street in the City of Canton, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has made a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, as follows:
1. That 23 South Main Street be designated as a handicap parking space pursuant to §9-10-
2(R) of the Canton Municipal Code and is subject to all rules and regulations of the
Canton Municipal Code as well as Chapter 625 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois this day of June, 2006.
