ORDINANCE N0. ~ 3
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 6, SECTION 6 OF THE CANTON
MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING MINORS IN POOL ROOMS, TITLE 3,RCHAP~'ER 6,
SECTION 7 OF THE CANTON MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING CLOSING TIME AND
TITLE 8, CHAPTER 4, SECTION 7 OF THE CANTON MUNICIPAL CODE PROHIBITING
COASTING.
WHEREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee of the City of Canton,
Illinois has determined that it is necessary, desirable and to the best
interests of the City of Canton to repeal and delete certain sections of
the Canton Municipal Code because of obsolescence; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has made
a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Title 3, Chapter 6, Section 6 of the Canton Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby repealed and deleted from the Canton Municipal
Code.
2. That Title 3, Chapter 6, Section 7 of the Canton Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby repealed and deleted from the Canton Municipal
Code.
3. That the remainder of Title 3, Chapter 6, Billiards; Bowling
Alleys, of the Canton Municipal Code remain in full force and effect.
4. That Title 8, Chapter 4, Section 7 of the Canton Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby repealed and deleted from the Canton Municipal
Code.
5. That the remainder of Title 8, Chapter 4, Streets, Sidewalks,
and Public Grounds, of the Canton Municipal Code remain in full force
and effect.
6. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval
by the Mayor thereof.
