AN ORDINANCE ~Cv1O
R~e»zoning certain property of Helen L.
Taraboletti on West Chestnut Street in
the City of Canton, Illinois
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois
that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate limits
of the City of Canton, Illinois and is currently zoned in an R»3 Zoning
Configuration, and
IT FURTHER APPEARING to said City Council that a Petition for Re-
zoning has been filed by the Petitioner, HELEN L. TA RABOLETTI, to rem
zone the property hereinafter described to an R.»4 Zoning Configuration, and
IT FURTHER APPEARING to the said City Council that a public hearing
was conducted before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canto
Illinois in accordance with law and that on the 25th day of August, 1976, said
Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that the property hereinafter
described be re-zoned from an R.»3 Zoning Configuration to an R-4 Zoning
Configuration.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
~ OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the territory described as follows:
Lot 65 and the East Half of Lot 64 of Ripple's Subdivision
of Lots 4, 7, 8 and 15 of French's Addition to the City of
Canton, County of Fulton and State of Illinois,
'~ be and the same is hereby zoned as an R-4 Zoning Configuration according to
City Code of the City of Canton, Illinois.
Section 2. That the City's zoning administrator be and he is hereby
ordered to make necessary amendments on the zoning map of the City of Canton
to reflect the changes required herein by this Ordinance.

Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after a majority vote of the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and
approval thereof by the Mayor.
PASSED by a majority vote of the City Council of the City of Canton,
