ORDINANCE N0. 0,'~
(AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY OF LENA H. NEBERGALL
TO THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS.)
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is not within the
corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the City
of Canton, Illinois, and,
It further appearing to said City Council that this property
is located in an area which is well suited for residential purposes
and therefore should be annexed as Zoning Configuration AG-l, and,
It further appearing to the said City Council that the premises
hereinafter described are owned by LENA H. NEBERGALL and that she is
the only elector who resides therein and that she as sole elector and
sole owner of the hereinafter described property has petitioned to
annex said property to the City of Canton as shown by the records of
this Council.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the territory described as follows:
Lot Thirteen (13) in Jackson's subdivision, being a
part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 33, Town-
ship 7 North, Range 4 East of the Fourth Principal
Meridian, situated in the County of Fulton, in the
State of Illinois,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Canton, Illinois.
Section 2. That this property shall be annexed zoned as AG-l.
Section 3. That a certified copy of this Ordinance together
with an accurate map of the territory described shall be recorded
with the Recorder of Deeds of Fulton County, Illinois.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in effect from and
after a majority vote of the City Council of the City of Canton,
and approval by the Mayor.
PASSED by a majority of the City Council of the City of Canton,

THE UNDER:iIGi~IFD, on oath, represents as follows
1. That the subject matter of this ~'ETITION FOR AT1p'E;~.~TION is the
territory or realty described as follo~rs:
Lot Number Thirteen (13) in Jackson's Subdivision being
part of the South-~dest :quarter (ST+tt/~) of Section TvTumber
Thirty-Three (33), in Township Seven (7) North, Ran e
Four (4) ti~ast of the Fourth Principal T~?eridian, all
situated in the County of Fulton, in the State of Illinois.
2. That said territory or realty is not within the corporate limits
of any municipality but is contiguous to a municipality, to-wit: CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS.
3. That said territory or realty is a part of a Fire Protection District
but is not a part of a Public Library District.
The Fire Protection District of which said territory or realty is a part
is known and identified as follows: Canton Community Fire Protection District.
4. That notice hereof in writing, as provided by Statute, has been or
will be timely given to the Trustees of the Fire Protection District of which
said territory or realty is a ;part and that an affidavit of the service of
such notice or notices is hereto attached (or will be timely provided).
5. That the undersigned is the sole owner of record of said territory
or realty and is the sole elector residing therein; that, by her signature
hereunto, she respectfully requests annexation of said territory or realty
to the CITY OF CANTOI`d, ILLINOIS.
6. That the undersigned, by her signature hereto, hereby states under
oath that the matters and things hereinabove set forth are true.
7. That other facts, material to this ~~etition, are alleged as follows:
ZONITr'G: This realty is presently subject to Fulton County zoning
regulations and is used solely as a single family residence.
Upon annexation Petitioner requests that said territory or realty be
zoned ~=3'under the Ordinance of the City of Canton, Illinois.
