ANNEXING PROPERTY OF ROBERT NELSON AND STEPHANIE
NELSON TO THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is
not within the corporate limits of any municipality but is con-
tiguous to the City of Canton, Illinois, and;

erty is located in an area which is well-suited for residential
and commercial purposes, and therefore, should be annexed as

THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Canton, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That the territory described as follows:
A part of_ the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township
7 North, Range 4 Fast of the Fourth Principal Meridian,
described as follows: Beginning at a point Twenty-two
(22) feet North of the Southeast corner of said Northwest
Quarter of said Section 35, running thence North Seven
Hundred Eighty (780) feet, thence West One Hundred Eleven
and seven-tenths (111.7) feet, thence South Seven Hundred
Eighty (780) feet to the North line of the public high-
way, thence East on the North line of the public highway
One Hundred Eleven and seven-tenths (111.7) feet to the
place of beginning, the above tract o.f land containing
Two (2) acres of land, more or less, except that part
dedicated for public highway, situated in the County of
Fulton, in the State of Illinois.

be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Canton, Illinois.
SECTION 2. That this property shall be annexed on the
South end thereof to a depth o.f 20g,57feet at B-2, General Com-
mercial, and the remaining 570.43 feet on the North side of said
property as R-2, Single Family Residential.
SECTION 3. That a certified copy of this Ordinance,
together with an accurate map of the territory described, shall
be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Fulton County, Illinois.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in effect from
and after a majority vote of the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois, and approved by the Mayor.
PASSED by majority of the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois, and approved by the Mayor this ~_H day of
