A public hearing for the City of Canton was held on April 18, 2023 (6:00pm) at the historic depot
with zoom attendance made available.

Mayor McDowell called the public hearing to order at 6:01PM
• Purpose of Public Hearing:
• Hearing for the purpose of the budget for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2023 and
ending April 30, 2024.
Mayor McDowell asked Comptroller Beka Schultz if she had anything to add to tonight’s agenda. She
said there was nothing new for this year’s budget.
Mayor McDowell asked for any public comment.
No additional comments were made and the public hearing adjourned at 6:04pm
