ORDINANCE ~ ~~f' ~
Yncorporating SBI Route No. 9 into
the Municipal Street System of
the City of Canton
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, under date of ~- c: tjt r..:. ~ r / :j1 a:: ' ; 19 l ~ the City of Canton, a
municipal corporation of the State of Illinois petitioned the State of
Illinois, through its Department of Transportation, to transfer the
jurisdiction of SBI Route No. 9 (Locust Place) extending from its east-
erly intersection with Locust Street to its westerly intersection with
Locust Street from the State Highway System to the Municipal Street
System; and
WHEREAS, the prayer of said petition was granted by said Department of
Transportation , 19

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Canton
that SBI Route No. 9 extending from its easterly intersection with Locust
Street to its westerly intersection with Locust Place is hereby incorporated
into and is hereby made a part of the Municipal Street System of this City;
and
FURTHER, the clerk is hereby directed to transmit one certified copy of this
ordinance to the State of Illinois through its District Engineer's office
at Peoria, Illinois. -
