RESOLULTION NO, 3751
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RELEASE OF CITY COUNCIL
EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES.
WHEREAS, the Legal & Ordinance Committee of the City of Canton has
determined that it is necessary and in the best interest of the City of Canton to release the
City Council executive session minutes so they may be a part of public record; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has made a similaz determination
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the executive session minutes of the Canton City Council of May 6,
1997, September 15, 1998 through November 3, 1998, Mazch 7, 2000, Mazch
20, 2001, April 4, 2001, November 6, 2001, December 4, 2001, and January 2,
2002, through September 17, 2002; December 16, 2003, and January 6, 2004
through December 7, 2004, and February 2, 2005 through December 20, 2005,
be released, with the exception of the following: Januazy 20, 2004, February
3, 2004, March 15, 2005, June 7, 2005, June 21, 2005.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make the above referenced
executive session minutes available to the public for inspection and/or review.
3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a
regular meeting this 2lstday of March 2006 upon a roll call vote as
follows:
AYES: Aldermen Schenck,Meade, Carl, L~1est,Sarff, Hartford,
NAYS: None .
ABSENT: Aldermen Reed, herardi.
