ADOPT ROBERTS RULES OF ORDER. Motion and second by Aldermen
Fillingham/Reed, to adopt Roberts Rules of Order to conduct business for the City of
Canton. Voice vote, motion carried unanimously.

Award Bid -Vine Street Bridge. Motion and second by Aldermen West/Hartford, to
award the low bid for the repair of the Vine Street Bridge to Otto Baum Company, Inc.,
Morton Illinois in the amount of $99,958.20. Roll call. AYES -Aldermen West, Reed,
Hartford, Carl, Harn, Molleck, Fillingham, Sarff. NAYS -None. 8 AYES, 0 NAYS, 0
ABSENT. Discussion. Alderman Sarff ask Cliff O'Brien the time table for the repairs.
Cliff said they would start at the end of the school session, and be finished when school
resumes in the fall. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
RESOLUTION -APPROVING SPECIFIC SALARIES FOR THE VARIOUS
DEPARTMENT HEADS, SUPERINTENDENTS, FULL TIME APPOINTIVE
EMPLOYEES AND PART TIME APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY
OF CANTON. First reading, read 'by title. Motion and second by Aldermen
Sarff/Fillingham, the resolution be referred to the Finance Committee. Discussion.
Alderman Sarff asked for a copy of the current salaries. Voice vote, motion carried
unanimously.
ORDINANCE - IMPLEMENTING THE PROVISIONS OF THE STATE
OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES ETH)CS ACT (51LCS 430/1-1 ET SE IN THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, FUL'1cON COUNTY. First reading, read by title.
