A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE BASIS FOR THE DETERMINATION
OF JUST COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN PARCELS. TO BE ACQUIRED
BY THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, the City of Canton, Illinois, deems it necessary and advisable to establish
the basis for the determination of just compensation for certain parcels of real
property to be acquired by the City of Canton, Illinois; and,
WHEREAS, the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies
Act, Pub lie Law 91=b46, requires that the parcels be appraised by two competent
professional real estate appraisers under Contract to the City of Canton, Illinois;
and,
WHEREAS, said Act requires that the appraisals be reviewed by a review appraiser
and he present his recommendations in written form, and said form be on file in
the Department of Community Development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
That these procedures be, and the same are, hereby established
as the basis for the determination of just compensation for real
property to be acquired by the City of Canton, Illinois.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, and APPROVED by the
Mayor thereof this~,~ day of April, 1977.
