A RES~LUTTON ESTARLIS'iT_~1G COST-Or-LIVING AT,LOI+IA'`1CE
Zh~HEREAS, the Corporate authorities of the City of Canton, Illinois have
by Ordinance, provided for a cost-of-living allowance to be computed and paid
from time to time as therein provided and during the Fiscal Year 1977 - 197; and,
ti~REAS, the Corporate authorities of the City of Canton, Illinois have now
computed the cost-of-living allowance to be paid its employees commencing with
the first full pay period in the month of June, 1977.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT, AI`,ID IT HEREBY IS RESi)LSTEU BY THE CORPORATE AUTHORSTIES
of the City of Canton, Illinois, as follows;
(1) That the cost-of-living allowance to 'oe paid to the employees of the
City of Canton, Illinois shall be .13 (13 cents) per hour for each hour worked
commencing; t'~e week of June 6, 1977, and in addition to any cost-of-living
allowance heretofore authorized dla.ring the Fiscal year, 1977-1978 (making a
total of 13¢ per hour in total cost-of-living for this fisca]_ year) .
(2) That employees thereto entitled shall be paid effective the 1st full
pay period in June and shall be paid currently for each pay period hereafter
until computation and re-determinat:~_on of the cost-of-living allowance has again
been made by the Corporate authorities as provided by said Ordinance.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and APPROVED
by the Mayor thereof this: ~ _..7th day of June 1977.
