RESOLUTION N0. ~ I
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN CRAWFORD, MURPHY & TILLY,
INC. AND W. G. JAQUES COMPANY.
WHEREAS, on June 7, 1977, the City of Canton, Illinois and Crawford,
Murphy & Tilly, Inc. entered into an Agreement for Engineering Services;
and
WHEREAS, said agreement states that Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc.
will provide certain professional services in connection with the im-
plementation of a Step 1 Facilities Plan; and
WHEREAS, paragraph 3.4 (b) (6) of said agreement provides that
cost of work on Infiltration/Inflow Analysis performed by subcontractors
in accordance with the terms of subcontract to be approved by the City
in advance of performance; and
WHEREAS, on December 12, 1977, Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc.
entered into an agreement with W. G. Jaques Company, a subcontractor,
for the Infiltration and Inflow Analysis Study in relation to the Step
1 Facilities Plan; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 3.4 (b) (6) of
the Agreement for Engineering Services, Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc.
desire approval by the City of the subcontract in advance of performance
of said subcontract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council hereby approves the agreement between Crawford,
Murphy & Tilly, Inc. and W. G. Jaques Company, a subcontractor, for the
purpose of undertaking the work necessary for the Infiltration and In-
flow Analysis Study in relation to the Step 1 Facilities Plan. A copy
of said agreement is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval
by the Mayor thereof.
