RESOLUTION N0. 7 (~ ~
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF MONEY FROM THE GENERAL
CORPORATE FUND OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS TO THE POLICE PRO-
TECTION FUND, THE FIRE PROTECTION FUND, THE ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND
AND THE GARBAGE FUND.
WHEREAS, the Finance & Personnel Committee of the City of Canton,
Illinois, has determined that it is necessary to transfer money from
the General Corporate Fund of the City of Canton, Illinois to the
Police Protection Fund, the Fire Protection Fund, the Road & Bridge
Fund and the Garbage Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has
made a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the sum of Three Hundred Twenty-Three Thousand Dollars
(323,000.00) be, and the same is hereby transferred from the General
Corporate Fund of the City of Canton, Illinois to the Police Protection
Fund of said City.
2. That the sum of One Hundred Ninety-Two Thousand Dollars
(192,000.00) be, and the same is hereby transferred from the General
Corporate Fund of the City of Canton, Illinois to the Fire Protection
Fund of said City.
3. That the sum of Seventy-Six Thousand Dollars ($76,000.00)
be, and the same is hereby transferred from the General Corporate Fund
of the City of Canton, Illinois to the Road & Bridge Fund of said City.
4. That the sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) be, and
the same is hereby transferred from the General Corporate Fund of the
City of Canton, Illinois to the Garbage Fund of said City.
5. That the City Treasurer and City Clerk of the City of Canton,
Illinois be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make said
transfers.
