A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE STATEMENT OF NEEDS, LONG-TERM OBJECTIVES APJD SFIORT-TERM
OBJECTIVES FOR A FY78 HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MULTI-YEAR COMPREHENSIVE
PREAPPLICATION UNDER THE GUIDELINES OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF
1977, AS ADMINISTERED BY THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMEPJT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee for Housing and Community Development programs
has held a series of public meetings and two public hearings for the purpose of formu-
lating a Statement of Needs, Long-Term Objectives and Short-Term Objectives fora Multi-
Year Comprehensive preapplication for Housing and Community Development Block Grant
assistance under the guidelines of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1977;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council of the City of Canton adopt the State-
ment of Needs, Long-Term Objectives and Short-Term Objectives in order to make a Mul~i-
Year Comprehensive preapplication for Housing and Community Development Block Grant
Assistance under the guidelines of the Housing and Community Development Act of
1977; Now
THEREFORE Bc IT RESOLVED by the Mayar and the. City Council of the.City of Canton,
Illinois, that the Statement of Needs, Long-Term Objectives and Short-Term Objectives
fora Multi-Year Comprehensive preapplication for Housing and Community Development
Block Grant assistance attached hereto and incorporated herein be adopted.
