RESOLUTION N0. ~~
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SALARY RANGES AND SPECIFIC SALARIES FOR THE VARIOUS
DEPARTMENT HEADS, FULL-TIME APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEES AND PART-TIME APPOINTIVE
EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF CANTON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has deter-
mined that it is necessary, desirable and to the best interests of the
City of Canton to set salary ranges and specific salaries for the various
Department Heads, full-time appointive employees and part-time appointive
employees of the City of Canton; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has reviewed
the proposed salary ranges for the various Department Heads, full-time
appointive employees and part-time appointive employees of the City of
Canton, said ranges being set forth in Exhibit A which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof by reference; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has reviewed
the proposed salaries for the various Department Heads, full-time appointive
employees and part-time appointive employees of the City of Canton, said
salaries being set forth in Exhibit B which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the salary ranges for the various Department Heads, full-time
appointive employees and part-time appointive employees of the City of
Canton, said ranges being set forth in Exhibit A which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof by reference, are hereby approved.
2. That the salaries for the various Department Heads, full-time
appointive employees and part-time appointive employees of the City of
Canton, said salaries being set forth in Exhibit B which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof by reference, are hereby approved. Said salaries
are to be effective as of May 1, 1978.

3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval
by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and
