A public hearing for the City of Canton was held on April 19, 2022 (6:00pm) at the historic depot
with zoom attendance made available.

Mayor McDowell called the public hearing to order at 6:00PM
Purpose of Public Hearing:
Hearing for the purpose of the budget for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2022 and
ending April 30, 2023
Comptroller Beka Schultz explained that the final budget was sent out to everyone. The final
budget being proposed has a surplus of approximately $50,000.00.
Mayor McDowell asked for any public comment (3 times)
No additional comments were made and the public hearing adjourned at 6:04pm
