A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE .STATEMENT OF NEEDS, LONG-TERri OBJECTIVES AND
SHORT-TERM OBJECTIVES FOR A FY 79 HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MULTI-
YEAR CONPREHENSIVE PREAPPLICATION UNDER THE GUIDELINES OF THE HOUSING AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1977, AS ADMINISTERED BY THE UNITED STATES
DEPARTAfENT OF HOUSING AND URBA'V DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Canton has held two public hearings for the purpose
of formulating a Statement of Needs, Long-Term Objectives and Short-Term
Objectives for a Multi-Year Comprehensive preapplication for Housing and
Community Development Block Grant assistance under the guidelines of the
Housing and Community Development Act of 1977; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council of the City of Canton adopt
the Statement of Needs, Long-Term Objectives and Short-Term Objectives in
order to make a Multi-Year Comprehensive preapplication for Housing and
Community Development Block Grant Assistance under the guidelines of the
Housing and Community Development Act of 1977; NOW
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois, that the Statement of Needs, Long-Term Objectives and
Short-Term Objectives for a Multi-Year Comprehensive preapplication for
Housing and Community Development Block Grant assistance attached hereto
and incorporated herein be adopted.
