A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE STATEMENT OF NEEDS, LONG-TERM OBJECTIVES AND SHORT-
TERM OBJECTIVES FOR A FY79 HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MULTI-YEAR COMPRE-
HENSIVE APPLICATION UNDER THE GUIDELINES OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ACT OF 1977, AS ADMINISTERED BY THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN ,
DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Canton, Illinois and the Community and Industrial Development
Committee have held two public hearings for the purpose of formulating a Statement
of Needs, Long-Term Objectives and Short-Term Objectives for a Multi-Year Comprehen-
sive application for Housing and Community Development Block Grant assistance under
the guidelines of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1977; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council of the City of Canton adopt the
Statement of Needs, Long-Term Objectives and Short-Term Objectives in order to make
a Multi-Year Comprehensive application for Housing and Community Development Block
Grant Assistance under the guidelines of the Housing and Community Development Act
of 1977; NOW
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois, that the Statement of Needs, Long-Term Objectives and Short-Term Objectives
for a Multi-Year Comprehensive application for Housing and Community Development
Block Grant assistance attached hereto and incorporated herein be adopted.
