WHEREAS, the City Council ofthe City of Canton, Illinois has taken action to submit an Illinois
Community Development Assistance Program (CDAP) public facilities application,
WHEREAS, receipt of CDAP grant assistance is essential to allow the City of ant n to undertake the
project to make improvements to the sanitary sewer,~stem within the targeted area of the community,
WHEREAS, criteria of CDAP are such that financial participation by the grantee is required in
conjunction with CDAI~ funds, and
WHEREAS, the City of Canton has certain monies allocated for the above-referenced project with cash
on hand, as needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City of C n on does hereby commit funds for use
in conjunction with an Illinois Community Development Assistance Program grant, such funds to equal
25% of the estimated total project cost of $45,000.00, or $113,750.00.
