A RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION N0. 814 CONCERNING ADDITIONAL CONTRACT
STREET LIGHTING.
WHEREAS, on October 16, 1979, the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois passed Resolution No. 814 concerning additional contract street
lighting; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution requested the Central Illinois Public
Service Company to furnish the City of Canton, Illinois, the following
street lighting service: 2 - 175 watt mercury vapor overhead lamps at
$75.00 per lamp per year; Location: North end of Lawrence Drive and
the East end of Banyon Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Streets & Traffic Committee of the City of Canton, Illinois
has determined that is is necessary, desirable and to the best interests of
the City of Canton to repeal Resolution No. 814; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has made a
similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Resolution No. 814 concerning additional contract street lighting
for the North end of Lawrence Drive and the East end of Banyon Drive be, and
the same is hereby repealed.
2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval
by the Mayor thereof.
