A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF MONEY FROM THE GENERAL CORPORATE
FUND OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS TO THE POLICE PROTECTION FUND, THE
FIRE PROTECTION FUND AND THE ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND.
WHEREAS, the Finance & Personnel Committee of the City of Canton,
Illinois, has determined that it is necessary to transfer money from
the General Corporate Fund of the City of Canton, Illinois to the
Police Protection Fund, the Fire Protection Fund and the Road & Bridge
Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has
made a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the sum of Five Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($530,000.00)
be, and the same is hereby transferred from the General Corporate Fund of
the City of Canton, Illinois to the Police Protection Fund of said City.
2. That the sum of Two Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($270,000.00)
be, and the same is hereby transferred from the General Corporate Fund of
the City of Canton, Illinois to the Fire Protection Fund of said City.
3. That the sum of One Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($180,000.00)
be, and the same is hereby transferred from the General Corporate Fund of
the City of Canton, Illinois to the Road & Bridge Fund of said City.
4. That the City Treasurer and City Clerk of the City of Canton,
Illinois be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to make said
transf ers.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and
APPROVED by the Mayor thereof this 15 -t h day of /~ ~{~ 1 L 1980.
