I further certify that on November 16, 2021 , the City Council of such
municipality passed and approved Ordinance #4261 entitled:

ORDINANCE NO. 4261
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERNUT/HOME
OCCUPATION TO ALLOW FOR IN-PERSON SHOPPING ON SATURDAY'S
ONLY AT 915 S. 2ND, CANTON, ILLINOIS, CURRENTLY ZONED R-2.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, that the territory herein described is located within the corporate limits of
the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a petition was filed by Cory & Angie Rodden, owner of the property
to the Joint Planning and Zoning Commission of said City requesting a Special
Use; and,
WHEREAS, no,objectors appeared at said hearing and said commission did
thereupon make favorable Findings of Fact and did recommend to the Canton City
Council that a Special Use Permit be allowed for in-person shopping on Saturday's
only at 915 S. 2nd Ave, Canton, Illinois 61520.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois hereby
finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a Special Use Permit to allow for in-person shopping on Saturday's only at
915 S. 2nd Ave zoned R-2 in Canton, Illinois, affecting real property being legally
described as follows:
Lots numbered Five (5) and Twelve (12) in E. and E. Johnson's 2nd Addition to the
City of Canton, situated in Fulton County, Illinois, according to the Plat thereof
recorded January 9, 1903 in Fulton County Recorder's Office in Plat Book 1, Page
84 as Document No. 141478
Common Address: 915 S. 2nd Ave, Canton, IL. 61520
Property ID: 09-08-34-416-070
3. That the City Council of the City of Canton, County of Fulton, Illinois, hereby
finds the facts of the aforegoing recitals to be fact.
4. That a Special Use permit be granted for Cory & Angie Rodden of 915 S. 2nd
Ave. Canton, Illinois as described herein shall be, and the same is hereby issued to
Cory & Angie Rodden, owner of property.
5. That the record of the City of Canton, appropriated documents, maps and
related regulations be and the same hereby are, amended to reflect the foregoing
special use permit granted herein.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton,Fulton County,Illinois, at a regular meeting
this 16th day of November, 2021 upon a roll call vote as follows:
