the number of inhabitants of your municipality is enclosed.

CERTIFICATE
To All To Whom These Presents Shall Come, Greeting:
WHEREAS, Section 1-7-2 of the "Illinois Municipal Code",
provides that the Secretary of State shall certify to each municipality
the number of its inhabitants as shown by the latest census taken by
authority of the United States; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the 2020 Decennial Census taken April 1,
2020 has been filed in my office; and
WHEREAS, it appears from such certificate that the City of
Canton, has 13,242 inhabitants.
NOW THEREFORE, I, JESSE WHITE, Secretary of the State of
Illinois, do hereby certify that the number of inhabitants of the
City of Canton is 13,242.
