A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INSURANCE RENEWAL BETWEEN THE CITY
OF CANTON AND KIESEWETTER INSURANCE AGENCY TO SERVE AS AGENT
FOR THE CITY' S WORKER' S COMPENSATION AND LIABILITY INSURANCE
FOR THE POLICY YEARS DECEMBER 1,2021 TO DECEMBER 1,2024
WHEREAS,the City of Canton, Illinois has determined that it is necessary and in the best
interest to renew the agreement between the City of Canton and Kiesewetter Insurance agency to
serve as agent for,the City's workers compensation and liability insurance for the policy years
December 1, 2021 to December 1, 2024
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the renewal attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A is hereby approved
by the Canton City Council;
2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk of Canton, Illinois, are hereby authorized and directed
to execute and deliver said agreement on behalf of the City of Canton; and
3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage by the City
Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.

SERVICE AGREEMENT
The City of Canton (City)and Kiesewetter Insurance Agency LLC(agent)agree that the agent will serve as
the"agent of record"for all the City's Property and Casualty insurance coverages for the period of
12/1/2021through 12/1/2024.
The agent's role as"agent of record" is to service and administer the City's insurance coverages.in a
professional manner and to negotiate the City's annual renewal coverages and pricing. The primary goal
will be to manage and control insurance costs for the City while maintaining the appropriate insurance
coverages for risk management.
In compensation for services rendered pursuant to this agreement,the agent will be paid a commission
or a combination of fee and commission as allowed by the insurance companies.
