A RESOLUTION REESTABLISHING THE ANNUAL SALARY OF CHIEF OF POLICE, ROBERT
W. MOLLECK FOR THE PRESENT FISCAL YEAR, MAY 1, 1981 THROUGH APRIL 30, 1982
WHEREAS, the Committee on Grievances, Negotiations and Personnel has determined
that Resolution Number 894, passedby the City Council and approved by the Mayor
on or about July 7, 1981 inadvertently omitted an increase in pay for the
Chief of Police of the City of Canton, Robert W. Molleck; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton has made a similar
determination; and,
WHEREAS, each of the aforesaid Committee and the City Council have determined
that the annual salary for Robert W. Molleck, Chief of Police of the City of
Canton, should be set at $26,707.60 annually, commencing May 1, 1981.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the annual salary for Robert W. Molleck, Chief of Police of the
City of Canton, is hereby set at $26,707.60 commencing on May 1, 1981 and
terminating on April 30, 1982, or, until superceeded by further Council action.
2. That the Treasurer of the City of Canton and the City Clerk of the City of
Canton are hereby directed to take such action as shall be necessary to implement
the intendment of this Resolution.
3. That, to the extent inconsistent with this Resolution, Resolution Number 894
together with Exhibits "A" and "B" thereto appertaining, is amended to increase the
salary range of the Chief of Police and the salary of the Chief of Police, Robert
W. Molleck, to $26,707.60.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and APPROVED by
